Should recreational vehicle owners be so bullish?

Why have not the Americans, for conservation, implemented legislature to reduce fuel consumption from some needless vehicle markets? Demand-side motivation can improve some commodity-buffer.
Bam! I am saying demand-side citizens should be more motivated to conserve.

2. Because if a person can afford to own an ATV and wants to spend the extra money, they can. The government should not, and it would be immoral for them to, get involved in restricting the freedoms of the population. The government exists to serve the people, not vice versa.

5. and why not regulate the use of all these people going to ball games and sporting events --just wasting gas--concerts---hockey--basket ball---hundereds of thousands of spectators wasting gas---limit vacations also----it is not needed----ever think about how many trains --block the road each day ---while cars set there and idle wasting gas----trains just back up---go forward --back up---unecessary stop lights---stop signs---every time a car starts back up it takes more gas to get back up to speed---for unecessary stops---red lights too long a timer---four way red lights---where the red light waits while one lane turns--then the next lane---at a intersection---stop signs in grocery store parking lots----school buses stopping at rail roads then re starting---police cars constantly idling for the entire shift--in fear to shut the engine off---just few examples---stop pizza delivers----they run faster to make all delivery's---why have boating on the lakes ------just wasting gas----what about nascar wasting gas?---what about moto cross wasting gas?---what about bull riding and rodeo's----takes gas to get there and haul the bulls around---what about junk mail?---takes electricity ---fuel wasted hauling it ---delivering it---flying it---printing it---telemarketing waste fuel and energy---
