What do people living in an RV use for their mailing address?

I was thinking of getting an RV and traveling for a few years, but I don't know where I'd forward my mail. Do travelers bother having a mailing address?

1. either have it forwarded to family or get a po box

2. Most have a PO Box at the city they consider their "home base" You can do it at a post office or at a mail boxes ect ... or something similar
