Where can i find a cheap camper van to hire to travel around Europe with?

A group of us are planning to spent the summer dossing around Europe and want to drive around rather than hopping on and off trains and buses. Where can i find cheap van or bus or anything rental in either the UK or across the Channel? Any recomendations?

1. Cheap and Camper hire in Europe do not go together.
If I were you I would google in the cheapest country of your trip, and fly to and from there.
If your trip has any of the former communist countries, google on that country and camper hire, or minibus hire.
Change your search words if there are few or no results.

In England you will rent a right hand drive car or van, and that is not as useful when on the continent.

If you are from the UK, ask around with your friends, as any group of friends I know, know someone who owns a minibus or knows a cheap rental place. But if you have no luck, I would still advice to try renting in the cheapest country.
