How much money would we spend on gas in an RV cross country trip?

If we were planning on driving from PA to CA in a 24' RV how much money would we spend on gas 1 way?

1. Find you the MPG for your RV then do the following math. If renting it, just call the rental place.

Total Trip Miles / MPG for RV = Gallons required.

Gallons required * Cost of Gas or Diesel = Total Cost for Trip

Here's an example. The RV gets 12mpg and you are going 1200 miles.

1200 miles / 12 mpg = 100 gallons of Gas

Gas costs $2.40

100 gallons * 2.40 per gallon = $240 total fuel cost
