Looking for RV Park in Portland, Oregon that will take my well-maintained '78 motorhome?
We just bought a '78 Champion Motorhome in December and are now looking for an RV Park in the Portland, Oregon area for a month-to-month rental. Problem is, we are now finding that most RV Parks here will not accept monthly rentals for anything older than 10-15 years.
I can understand that this rule is designed to keep junky rigs out of the parks which could cause the parks to lose business. However, our RV is in good condition and has been maintained very well. Does anyone know of an RV park in the Portland, OR area which does not discriminate against RVs based on their age, as long as they are in good condition?

1. There's a place around N.E. 72nd and N.E. Killingsworth called something like the Fir Grove mobile home park. It's kind of across the street from the intersection of N.E. Killingsworth and N.E.Portland Blvd. It looks kind of dumpy from the outside. You can try there.
2. That piece of junk motor home only has a value of $500- $2.500. and people that usually own these are low income. Yep! Fir Grove, down on 72nd Killingsworth, that unit would fit right in that so called Ghetto Park.

Top Gun: No wonder you sit here and pass judgment - you're so unhappy in your marriage and that's the only one you will probably have for the rest of your life, based on your answer to another question. Who cares if these people are low income or not. They deserve to be in a safe place and they're probably a lot happier than you will ever be.
