Recreational Vehicle parking?
i need to know if there is any regulations to Recreational Vehicle parking with in city limits.. because down the street from me a guy has parked an RV and it blocks the road so you cant see if anyone is coming down the road..i have almost gotten hit more than once. the police say there's nothing they can do because he is not breaking any laws. but there has to be some kinda of law stating that you cant park an RV with in city limits for so long. the RV has been there for over 3 months now. it needs to move before someone gets hurt. i need help on this. any information or websites that might help are greatly appreciateed.

1. If the local Police are saying it isn't a offence, that is that. Really, learn to go another route, or sharpen your driving skills a bit.

2. There are in some cities, but not all. I live in a city where RV's can be parked on the street at night or on the weekend, but not in the middle of a workday. I grew up in a town where no vehicles could be parked on the street overnight (the police would have this is you called to say you were repaving your driveway and needed to park on the street for one night), but now I live in a town where there is no limit on how long you can park.
There is certainly no nationwide law saying that you cannot park an RV within city limits for so long. There are laws in some places saying something like that, but not everywhere.
If the RV is parked somewhere without a law like that, then you need to get a law passed. Go to the city council and ask them to pass a city law limiting RV parking.
3. The obvious answer to your question is there are no regulations in your city, if the police informed you "there's nothing they can do because he is not breaking any laws" Have you gone to speak with the man, nicely? Perhaps if you voiced your issue to him, he may move his RV if aware of a problem.
