How do RV rentals work?

Interested in renting an RV to take a road trip! Im not sure how renting works though. When I look up prices it only includes like 300 miles a day at the most and that isn't NEARLY enough! Does anyone know how exactly the whole milage thing works out? I really dont want to pay 40 extra cents a mile because im going cross country!!

1. Usually they offer unlimited mileage for a higher rate. At least they used to at El Monte RV.

2. You're out of luck. You can ask the rental agency if they have mileage packages for a couple thousand miles, but if you can only get 300 miles, you're stuck paying by the mile overages.
