can someone find how boats are classified under recreational vehicles?

I am trying to find a site (official site) that defines boat as a recreational vehicle. I need it for a zoning ordinance...any help would be great....state is New Jersey. Thanks in advance
For better clarification.I own a company a boat company and we are leasing property from an RV dealer. Our township is trying to state that boats can not be stored at this location because they are not considered recreational vehicles. I have to find something that provides proof that boats are considered recreational vehicles or I must move 85 boats... any help would be appreciated.

1. Boats have 2 classification Recreation and Commercial.

2. Most "ordinances" have within the language of the ordinance or the law supporting it, a definition of the "terms" and purpose of the ordinance. If you are arguing that the law that prohibits living on a "boat" but allows living in a recreational vehicle.....the courts (or zoning board) are going to side on the literal definition. In most cases a RV is a motor vehicle, and a boat is a "watercraft". Perhaps you can further explain your question. Good luck!
