We want to rent a camper rv?

when we plan a vacation next summer in Alaska. We plan to fly to Alaska and rent a vehicle. An RV is expensive. We heard about pickup truck campers that the major car rental places rent. Would they be cheaper? Any ideas on how to rent a camper that isn't so expensive?

My brother and his family used them last summer and he said they had the best deals, by far and they really had a great time. They rented a motor home (4 kids) but they have smaller units. I noticed on the web site that they have a really great deal going on right now: 50% off for early booking (before October 31) - that is saving a ton of money! Also airfare deals.
