Why can't I find an rv rental for one night?

I need to rent an rv for one night (in the San Diego area) but I cant find any that rent for fewer then 3 days. Is it impossible to rent for one night only? Thx, Brian

2. Possible reasons you are having a hard time
1. You are looking for an RV on the San Francisco Boards when you need it in San Diego
2. RV are not hotels and thus need to require a minimum of three days to break even on the rental
3. You are looking only at commercial dealers. You might have better luck if you tried SD Craigslist and rented directly from an RV owner.
