Where does all the excess material from bathroom and Kitchen goes from RV?

I have never experienced an RV before, although I am curious to find out that where does RV gets its electricity, water and gas for kitchen from, and where does all the used water goes from bathrooms and kitchen. I have seen people taking their RV's to parks and beaches, but I don't know if they pay to use parking at beaches and also do they provide water pipelines and electricity to RV's at beaches.

Public Comments

1. Some have generators for electric, for waste there is a tank that can be emptied, same with a fresh water tank.

2. All the water is dumped automatically when driving down the hiway

3. Generators and Batteries power electrical systems... Storage Tanks are aboard for both fresh water as well as sewage and grey water.. :o) You'll see RV's dumping the sewage/grey water (ie; shower, sink water) at the parks through a hose. :o)

4. RVs have holding tanks for gray water (water from drains and toilet). Most also have a generator for power supplies. Most campgrounds will have electric and water hookups for the RV. You plug an extension cord into the electrical panel and then into a receptacle on the RV. Same with water. Hook a water hose up to the water supply at the campground and then to the RV and you have fresh water. When you finish camping, most campgrounds will have a waste station where you can dump the gray water tank into the sewer system.

5. Each RV has a holding tank one for Grey water and one for sewerage. You have an electronic panel that tells you when it needs emptying. You pull up to a dump station and pay a fee and you can empty your tanks and flush the system out. There is also a tank for holding fresh water or you can hook up to a water supply via hose. Dump stations are located in campgrounds. You have Lp gas on board this runs stove, hot water, heat and refridgerator. There is an electrical hook up that plugs into 30 amp or 50 amp service. you also have a generator that operates on regular gas if needed and battery back up lights run on 12 volt battery for areas with no electric hookup. you also have cable hook up or satelite for Tv. RV's pay as all beach goers do. We just have the comforts of home with us. flat screen and microwave great way to tailgate or spend a day at beach or at campground.
