What is the best value camper van a person can buy?

I would like to buy an economical, small (2 person) LPG camper van- BUT what make/model is the best value for money? It still has to be very reliable.

1. Get an old VW vanagon, like early 80's, before they put the water cooled engine, I think they started that in 85. They run forever, and IF they break you can get parts for them anywhere. And they have a ton of cool accessories.
