Need advice on renting RVs?

Hello, my family and my friend's family (total 10 people) are looking to rent an RV (motorhome- not trailer) for a week (6 nights) to drive from San Antonio to South Padre Island and back (all in Texas).

We are looking at an RV that would cost us about $760 for the whole week. Does this sound right? It's a 10 person RV with a toilet and TV. We're getting it from American Dream Vacations, apparently an RV rental place.

So, how much do you think the gas would cost for that trip? From San Antonio to South Padre and back.

1. Done this twice, to take the Ohio branch to visit the Tenn branch of my family. The $$$ I'm not sure about, because my brother took care of that end, but mileage was like 6 or 7 MPG. Should be a broker with an ad on the net, so check there for the rental on a similar RV. By the way, it worked great !! Let the smaller kids move around and the bigger kids to sit & gab.....
