What is the best way to find out about available rv campground host jobs? My husband and I would like to be campground hosts at State and National RV Parks across the country, preferabley in NC, Fla, Ga, and Texas. We would consider being volunteer campground hosts. How do we go about applying for available positions? Is there a certain web site that we can go to?

What is the longest time one can stay at an RV campground? My husband and I are going to have to stay at an RV campground this summer while renovations are being done at our house. Is there a ban on walmart and other non campground rv parking in Nova Scotia? Is there, or is there not, a ban on RVing in Walmart parking lots and other non-campground areas in Nova Scotia? We are wondering where tired RVers go during peak season when campgrounds are full RVers are too tired to continue driving at night, since, apparently, according to the RV forums, there are not enough campgrounds to accommodate the overflow of RVers, during peak season, in Nova Scotia. Is this true? I guess those who park there anyway, are exhausted from driving and feel regardless of the rules (and how ignorant they are) they don't intend to risk the life of their family, themselves or others on the road. It should be used for emergencies only. People can't always plan their holidays ahead of time...it sometimes depends on a lot of different things. We've been planning our trip since May and haven't been able to go until now.

Has anyone been to Pippy Park RV campground in Newfoundland or Celtic Rendevous Resort near St. Johns? We are traveling in a brand new RV and want to stay at very nice RV Resorts. Has anyone stayed at either of these places and how would you rate them? Thanks.

When camping with tent trailer (pop up), do you stay in the tent area of the campground or the RV area? We're looking at a VERY long trip across the country using our minivan and tent (as is our family tradition). But a friend has offered to let us use his popup trailer. Campground/Rv Park in Round Rock, Texas? Hi all, years ago some friends took me RVing to this campground in Round Rock, Tx. that I loved. I'm going to be in Austin soon and would love to visit there again but I can't remember the name. They had these knee deep natural springs that you could walk down the hill to. (I remember them telling me that they had closed off the actual springs because two divers had gone down to explore and had gotten lost and therefore died, don't know if that tidbit is helpful.) In any case, I keep trying to google the information but it keeps coming up with Barton Springs and I'm 100% sure that's not it. Anyone with any info. please let me know. It's greatly appreciated, thanks in advance! If no one can tell me that information, can you recommend another camp site? Absolutely 100% sure it was Round Rock.

how do I stop someone from putting a campground across the street from my property? I just received a letter from the township stating the owner of the property directly across from my house wants to open a family campground and RV park. We own 20 acres and moved here 11 years ago to get "away" from city life and traffic. I have found adapters to convert the common 30 amp rv output to the 15 amp household outlet.
